Jumps

Note: Some people jump in the opposite direction on opposite feet. Also, when you land a jump, stretch your arms out to your sides and stretch your free leg out behind you.

Ballet Jump-The first jump you learn. You step on 1 foot and hop on it.
Waltz Jump-You take off from your left foot going forwards on an outside edge, turn one half rotation in the air, and land going backwars on your right foot on an outside edge.
Salchow-Do a 3-turn from forwards on an outside edge to backwards on an inside edge on your left foot, then jump up and land on your right foot going backwards on an outside edge.
Toe Loop-Step on your right foot going forwards on an inside edge, do a 3-turn, sort of turn forwards, dig your left toepick into the ice, jump, and land going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge.
Loop Jump-Start going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge, take off of the edge, do 1 rotation in the air, and land going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge.
Flip Jump-Start going forwards on your left foot on an outside edge but sort of in a straight line, do a 3-turn, dig your right toepick into the ice, jump, do 1 rotation in the air, and land going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge but sort of in a straight line.
Lutz Jump-Start going backwards on your left foot on an outside edge, dig your right toepick into the ice, jump, do 1 rotation in the air, and land going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge.
Axel-Start going forwards on your left foot on an outside edge, take off of the edge, do 1 and a half rotations in the air, and land going backwards on your right foot on an outside edge.

Next, you will move on to double jumps. They are the same as singles, except for they are 2 rotations in the air instead of 1. A double Axel is 2 and a half rotations in the air instead of 1 and a half. You can also do triples and quads after you master those. Maybe.
