| Rachel Miner was born on July 20th, 1980 in NYC, New York, USA and grew up on Upper West Side. She wanted to be an actress since age 2 and got her first Agent at age 9. In between she also wanted to get an astronaut; she was also head of the 'astronauts club' at age 6; and a ballerina. Since she was always surrounded by adults she never felt like a child. That may be one of the reasons why she got married at the young age of 17 to Macaulay Culkin. They both met in Childrens Professional School in 1994 and were Classmates. Her first Work was playing young Alice in Woody Allens same titled movie. The older Version was played by Mia Farrow. Then she played Michelle Bauer on the Guiding Light for five years. She got fired there and replaced by an older actress, because the producers thought she wasn't able to handly her adult lines. one of her most outstanding works was in 2001 the movie 'Bully' where she played Lisa Conelly. A true story about some Kids that murdered a guy, that includes a lot of nude and sex scenes. She wanted to play that part, because she wanted to get over her fears (this was her first nude scenes ever) and she likes to get that experience. She also liked that movie, because the play was 'honest' . She doesn't like to do teenie movies, bacause she is not sure about the message they give to the society. She also avoids big Hollywood movies in general, because she doesn't like that plastic Hollywood lifestyle, liket that you need to be perfect to be happy. Thats a dangrous message. She describes herself as beeing very silly: tending to talk with a different voices, like a baby voice, irish or southern girl accents and also having multiple persons. Rachel admitts that she kinda lives in her own Universe, which is OK, because that doesn't harm anyone. She also doesn't take herself too seriousely.'A lot of people will call me nuts or crazy, but I've always been pretty stable. |
