Repeater Hack

This is the method recommended by the previous Electrix team for taking a regular .wav file and making a Repeater loop out of it:

  • Find the exact length of the .wav file you wish to use (e.g. mySong.wav)
  • Create a Repeater loop exactly the same size (e.g. LOOP1.wav)
  • In an audio editor open mySong.wav and LOOP1.wav
  • Copy mySong.wav, and paste it into LOOP1.wav between the gaps*
  • Pray.

    * Remember, Repeater adds gaps to the beginings and ends of the .wav files it produces


    In my experience this method never created a clean loop.
