Valley Stream
Tumbling rocks,
Seemingly frozen in time
Down the mountain side
Covered in soft moss
And little flowers,
Make perfectly formed steps
Down to the valley
A soft breeze blows through
Ruffling my hair
And forming gentle ripples
Upon the waters glassy surface
Ah! The water
A small stream of dreams
Weaving its way through the valley
Like a shimmering ribbon of silver
In the light of a full moon
The brightly shining stars
Reflecting in the cool water
Like little jewels
As fish dart from here to there
Over the rock covered bottom
Fireflies dance about in the night air
Shining like tiny stars,
Come down from the heavens to play
And all the while
I think to myself
"At last I found what I long for"
