My Thoughts
Warning: Some people may be offended by what I have written here. Please try to view this page ONLY with an OPEN MIND. Also, please dont take any of what I say personally or in the wrong way. These are simply my views and thoughts about the world and the life I see around me, I mean no one harm... I simply wish to express myself.

Religion
I find it very annoying how we try to understand... how we "know" what "God" is, when we dont even know everything about our own, tiny world. We have taken a force great enough to create a universe, and simplified it for our small human minds to understand. We have created these figures, these beings that feel and think, all to get people to do "good." Now we brainwash ourselves, believing we have all the answers, and weve become blind and narrow-minded about the subject.
But let them have their "God" if it makes them happy, for I am not about to try and change the world. All people want are simple answers, what they want to hear. They dont want to accept that there are no answers. We are a stupid race.

Low Self-esteem
People often tell me that Im too hard on myself but who better to be hard on me than me? As I view it, Im not hard enough on myself. I sometimes wonder if people would still tell me to change if I was full of myself, instead. I mean, everyone always gets on someones case if they lack confidence in themselves, but how often for you see someone doing that to a conceded person? In my opinion, Id rather think too little of myself than too much.
And where does one draw the line? How can you have just the right amount of confidence toward yourself without sounding conceded? I guess its all in how you look at it, really.

"Deep Thoughts"
Congratulations to the owner of the Deep Thoughts
Webring for earning my criticism...
Earlier tonight I had been looking for another webring to join. Well, I came across one called "Deep Thoughts" and due to the poetry, and this very sections of my site, I thought to join my site to it. I was eager to join it until my curiosity got the better of me and I looked at the ring masters page. The very first thing that I saw upon viewing the main page was a gross description of his personal "love" life. (mind you, there was no mention of actual love anywhere in it, only lust) Personally, I have to interest in reading such material, nor do I think the children who may happen to stumble across it appreciate it. That he posted such writing on his site is VERY inconsiderate. The truly sad part is that this is what that man considers to be "deep thoughts" Now, Im sorry if I sound judgmental, but I find it pathetic and highly disturbing.

The Sicker Side of Humanity - Part 1
Im afraid my last entry has me too disturbed to stop writing. It brings to mind how many more of us behave in such manners, and the mindless things we do. The other day I had been watching t.v., out of lack for something better to do, and 4 different shows came on that all involved drugs, partying, and sex. These seem to be the only things that run through the minds of the majority of Americas youth. How pathetic has man kind become? We think were above all other animals, but really WE are the animals. The things that go on in this world today make me sick to even think about. Some may argue that what people do is only natural. A: Nothing we do anymore is "natural" and B: our minds have developed a conscious, we know right from wrong and we have a sense of love, and those developments of the mind are exactly what are supposed to make us better than other animals. But we always go against it, so therefore we are worse, in our own way.

The Sicker Side of Humanity - Part 2
Obsession with pain and suffering:
Have you ever noticed how people always seem to enjoy watching others get hurt? There was one time, not too long ago, when I was on my way home and got stuck in traffic for an hour, things were backed up for 10 miles. The reason why... because people wanted to slow down to see a truck that had a smashed in bumper, which was on the other side of the road, across 4 lanes. Sad how we are so fascinated by destruction that we go out of our way to see it. Another example would be boxing and wrestling, and other fighting sports. We get a thrill out of seeing someone hit someone else. Theres also car derbies, watching cars destroy each other and the more violent, the better. Its rather pathetic when you think about it. What simple, twisted minds we have to get entertainment out of something so savage.
