Eternity is a Friend for me

For Lily, who gave me the inspiration.
All our lives
We search,
Trying so hard to find
The eternity that is a friend for me.
Those of us who find it are blessed
And those who don't
Don't know the hell they live in.
Yet the one thing
We all need
Is the eternity that is a friend for me.
All my life
Unknowingly I have searched
And what makes Hell of this existence
Is that everytime
Eternity is a friend for me.
So I go on
And try and live my life
But I everytime I think I find it anew,
Eternity is a friend for me..
