Myself Within
Just so everyone knows, I only wrote this poem because my friend challenged me to
I know her
Better than me
She’s shy and caring
And very sweet
She has a passion for life
Is in touch with her heart
She is proud and honest
And clever and smart
She tries new things
Keeps an open mind
She’s talented and creative
And has a gaze that’s kind
She understands
What other’s don’t see
She’s able and strong
And happily free
I know her, I know
No better than I
For it’s within me
That she lives inside
