many people who keep the domestic pigeon and have

people raise pigeons for the purpose of exhibiting
them at some of the thousands of pigeon shows all
over the world. Others keep birds that are
performance bred. The Racing Homer is a well known
breed in this category. Rollers, Doneks and
Tipplers are a few other breeds that are also
popular performers. People keep them for utility
purposes and others have them just because they
enjoy having them. Each of these types of pigeon
breeders have one thing in common, "They have a
passion for pigeons!"
