3-23-06 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the gig last Saturday. Next stop = Cannon's, Thursday, April 6th. Check out: Myspace for more dates. Also- the current 4-song live cd that we have been using solely as a means to get gigs is being mastered to improve the overall sound quality. We hope to have the disc available this Spring. (It was recorded at the end of last year at the Bally Inn...tell us you were there, and most likely we'll just give you a freebie)

12-13-05 - A good tyme was had by all last night when we rambled ourselves down to The City of Brotherly Love for a gig at The Tritone bar on South Street. We managed to get through the song list without breaking ANY strings.

11-18-05 - We played at the Speckled Hen (http://www.judysoncherry.com/speckledhen/index.html) in Reading last night. It was unplanned...otherwise we would have tried to let y'all know.

11-11-05 - The November 9th Bally Hotel gig is in the bag!

The recording is in our hands. Overall, it is of pretty low-quality. But, we will have something to offer very shortly. I am going to edit the whole thing/break it into tracks, and have something for you to listen to in the near future! A big thanks to the mysterious Steve Spatz for drumming! And a VERY BIG THANKS TO STEVE WALKER for making the night happen!

11-1-05 "A Message from the Jailbird"

Howdy to everyone out there in Pigeonland. This is the jailbird crowin' at ya. I hope y'all like the website so far. We expect it to keep growin. Upcoming appearances from the pigeons is limited to open mics at the moment, but we hope to change all that soon. This Thursday we will be at the Speckled Hen (4th and Cherry st, Reading), but it could possibly just be a jailbird solo performance, and there is always a good spectrum of talent at the Hen, so check it out. We'll also be at the Bally Hotel on November 9th. That one will be recorded and we hope to scrape together a demo from that little show. Check that one out too, not because I told you so, but because you like good music and a good honkey-tonk here and there. (Hey, they got beer too!) That's all for now. Keep your freak flags flyin' and remember: never underestimate the power of a pigeon.
