This is where it can all go wrong, In the past i have really got it wrong and im still trying to get it right. There are so many variables , temperature , activity, breeding, moulting and of course racing and more i am sure. But i feed all my birds on a good mix for old birds and young birds all year round. but only change the food when feeding young i use beans because a bean will stay in a bird for along time.and it saves alot of money.
