FOAL BUYING POLICY
note:prices can change any time. If you dont have a contract or deposit on a FOAL, than we can raise or lower our prices as we see the need or according to the market. WE are not responsible to lower a price or to you, if you do not commit or make a deposit to freeze the price we have agreed on. We are honest horse breeders but cannot be held at the mercy or whim of people who cannot decide or are slow paying. WE HAVE LOST SALES DUE TO PEOPLE MAKING PROMISES THAT DID NOT PAN OUT BY VERBAL AGREEMENT.
All payments must clear the bank before departure on personal checks, cash, cashiers checks accepted and pay pal.
When the foals are born
Sales Policy: Foals that have not been weaned require a 1/3 down to reserve/HOLD the foal and monthly payments until foal is weaned. Once deposit is received, the horse is considered reserved. We will not hold any foal on a promise, but a deposit only, no exceptions. If applicable, a 100% refund is given if the horse is permanently disabled due to injury or dies before weaning, or funds can be transfered to another foal of similar value. A refund is not given if the buyer backs out of the sale. After weaning, the buyer assumes full responsibility for the horse, board, medical, farrier, including injury and/or death. No horse may leave our possession without being paid for in full along with any incurred charges, by cashiers checks, draft transfer or cash on arrival. If the buyer fails to take possession of the horse 30 days after ready date, the deposit is forfeited and the contract for purchase deemed void. We reserve the right to refund a deposit fee if we feel it is in the best interest of the horse. We welcome pre-purchase exams however they are the responsibility of the buyer. We will of course provide papers, coggins, 1 set of vaccinations, halter training, handling, hoof trim, tie and trailer training included in the sale price. Buyer is responsible for travel expenses, transportation charges, bank fees, paypal fees, other vet exams and halters and leads or feeds stuff for travel.
PRICES
Prices are set according to breeding, sex, color and market, at current fair market value and includes the services for foals that we normally do. If we negotiate and lower the price to make a sale, we may not include the vaccinations, coggins,trims, deworming, halter training, tie training as promised in part of rock bottom deals..(this is a$200.00 value), labor and actual cost for things ads up. Please keep in mind all this take money and time, and we are factoring this into our prices.if you feel this is something you would rather do yourself, by all means say so and we will cut the price to reflect this, and you can do all those tasks and pay for all those things yourself if you prefer after the foal leaves(your foal will not lead, load, or have any other maintanance, no veterinary or farrier attention, but will be fed) ... this will fall on the buyer if requested. All shipping charges, halters, leads, exams or other will fall on the buyer. Extended stay after weaning, allowed for extended pay out not to exceed 6 mths with board charges of $3.00 per day, that is minimal charges for farm foals only..on limited payout of 2 months after weaning, no more to the age of 6 months. WE will while boarding take all precautions but any vets or other care is required it will fall on the buyer, as part of the purchase plan we cannot be responsible for a foals care other than feeding, if you intend to board for a length of time while you pay off your foal be prepared to pay other charges, due to the ownership financial responsibility will be transfered after weaning, until payout to the buyer and papers will be handed over on payoff. After weaning the financial responsibility ownership goes to the buyer includes all financial in regards to care, health, medical, farrier, emergencies etc..but does not allow buyer to remove said foal from the premises until all is paid for. Board charges will include all feed, hay for the duration of the board, safe turn out and shelter.
