| Glenvar Guesthouse (GGH) | |||||||||
| TERMS AND CONDITIONS | |||||||||
| 1. Payment in cash of 100% of the total quotation amount is payable in advance of occupation and at least 50% of the total quotation must be paid in cash at least 2 weeks in advance or as soon as an agreement could be reached on accommodation in order to secure the booking; | |||||||||
| 2. The guest shall forfeit the full deposit in the event of the guest not complying with proper cancellation procedures timeously and per GGH rules and requirements; | |||||||||
| 3. The Guest shall abide by all the rules and directions whether written or verbal which relate to the guesthouse; | |||||||||
| 4. GGH shall not be liable for any loss, damages, theft, injury or other loss or prejudice suffered by the guests in whatever form or place and the guests indemnify and hold GGH harmless against any claims in this regard; | |||||||||
| 5. GGH does not warrant that GGH is suitable for the guests purposes whilst in NZ; | |||||||||
| 6. GGH reserves the right to place guests in any of the guest house's available rooms; | |||||||||
| 7. The guest shall be liable for all legal costs including tracing fees and collection fees in the event that GGH takes any steps to recover monies owing and outstanding by guests and the guests consent to the local forum having jurisdiction in the matter; | |||||||||
| 8. GGH may claim interest at 2% per month on all outstanding monies owing by guests; | |||||||||
| 9. Any relaxation or indulgence granted by GGH shall not be construed to be a waiver of any of GGH's rights; | |||||||||
| 10. The terms hereof shall not be abrogated or prejudiced except where GGH agrees to such abrogation or derogation or diminution here from in writing and a duly authorised representative of GGH signs such purported diminution; | |||||||||
| 11. The guests undertake to respect the property and privacy rights of GGH and those of the owners and managers thereof; | |||||||||
| 12. The guests consent to their names being checked with any credit agency to ascertain their creditworthiness in connection with any dealings with GGH; | |||||||||
| 13. Should any single term be unenforceable then the remaining terms shall be severable and shall continue to apply with full force and effect; | |||||||||
| 14. Should the guest not abide by these terms or not comply with the rules and/or directions of GGH management or fail to settle accounts timeously or be in persistent breach of the terms hereof or generally prejudice GGH or its management then the guest shall be liable to vacate the guesthouse on 24 hours notice without any claim for any refund or compensation for any prejudice suffered by the guest; | |||||||||
| 15. These terms and conditions are not exhaustive of the terms, conditions, rules and requirements applying to guests of GGH. | |||||||||
