Gate Guardian
Dark/Warrior
Level 11
3750/3400
This card can only be special summoned by offering Sanga of Thunder, Kazejin, and Suijin as a tribute on your side of the field.
Pikman's Review:
I did pick this card, and I know it's terrible.  I just wanted everyone to know that this card is way, WAY overrated.  It's like, hello Konami? If you fuse 3 dragons together, you gat 4500 attack! This is like fusing three monsters (instead you tribute) but you only get 3750.  I'd rather stick with Blue Eyes and a Axe of Despair, because first of all, that's one card that comes in a starter deck. Second of all, Axe of despair is one ultra rare card, and the Gate Guardian set is 3 super rares and an ultra rare.  Plus, It's more attack than Gate Guardian. And it's harder to get 4 cards out of the deck at the same time than two, isn't it.

Rating: -10 out of 10, perfect trade bait
Toad's Review:
This card isn't as bad as Pikman said.  Some poeple actually have all 3 pieces to Gate Guardian, and the good thing about it is if you don't get all of the pieces to Gate Guardian, then you still can use them as regular awesome monsters. Same thing for Blue-Eyes Ultamite.  I agree with Pikman about the fact that this card, along with Blue-Eyes Ultamite, are overrated, but BY FAR not as much overrated as the Exodia Pieces.  If you get 4 exodia pieces in a game, you get 4 spots in your hand that you can't use for other cards.  This card is ok as one piece, and good as 3 pieces.  But if I had to chose between having a Gate Guardian on the field or 3 face-down pieces of it, I would chose the second one.  Remember, The pieces have good effects, and if you use all 3, your opponent will lose about 7500 life points, and they are likely to have lost at least 1000 by the time you get each of them, which makes Gate Guardian kind of pointless. But like Pikman said, great trade bait.

Rating: 5 out of 10.  It's kinda pointless, but it is good trading bait, and it sells for mega bucks.
Jammintenchi's Review:
This card has the highest attack and defense of any monster in the english card game so far. When the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Comes out, this will be pretty worthless. If you actually play with tribute, this guy bites. Three Tributes for each piece, and then you have to tribute them! At least with fusion you can fuse monsters from your hand. I hate going last cuz everyone says what i am going to say.
Final Rating: 2 out of 10, only cuz it has good attack and defence
Final Statement: Pikman, Konami only makes the japanese card game, upperdeck makes the american.
Red Eyes Blue Dragons Review:
This card is only good for using the effect of the Gate Guardian Pieces.  Overall, it's not worth tributing 9 pieces to get it out.  What's the point of having it if you have to tribute 9 monsters?!?!?
Final Rating: 1 out of 10.
Final Comment: Pikman, if you play with tribute, it is really pathetic.  It's only good trade bait.
