Starting Yu-Gi-Oh? Start here! If you are going to start Yu-Gi-Oh, you would probably want to start with a starter deck. But the next question is, which one? First I will talk about the Yugi deck. It has 4 good attacking monster cards, Dark Magician (2500 atk, 2100 def), Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300 atk, 2100 def), Curse of Dragon (2000 atk, 1500 def), and Summoned Skull (2500 atk, 1200 def). Yugi also has 2 good defense cards, Mystcal Elf (800 atk, 2000 def) and Giant Soldier of Stone (1300 atk, 2000 def). Yugi's good effect card is Man-Eater Bug (450 atk, 600 def) and when you flip this card on the field, or a monster kills it, you get to kill one of your opponent's monsters. Now Kaiba's Deck has 3 good attacking monsters, Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000 atk, 2500 def), Swordstalker (2000 atk, 1600 def) and Judgeman (2200 atk, 1500 def). Kaiba's one good Defense monster is Gyakutenno Megami (1800 atk, 2000 def). Kaiba doesn't have any good effect monsters. Overall, if you want to start playing Yu-Gi-Oh, Yugi is the starter deck you will want to buy, and then later on buy the Kaiba deck so you can get his monsters. Even though Kaiba has the better monsters, Yugi has more good monsters, and that will help you in a duel more. Kaiba's deck has those monsters above, and some other pathetic and weak monsters that wont help you at all. That is why you should buy Yugi deck first. Pikman signing off! From Pikman (Kit C.)
