| My Babies | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I love spending the Autmn weekends at the Carolina Renissnace Festival. The past few years I have gone, I've explored and found some great offerings. Fall 2005, I came back with my first "baby." It's hard to explain exactly what my baby is, but during my exploration of the "woodbaby" community, I came to learn so much more about them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This little guy was my first baby. His name is Lord Harold, but he prefers Harold just for short. He's a celtic mythological creature known as a caitsidhe. According to legend, these little guys were suppose to bring good luck when caught, but rather than being caught, Harold came to me and cried out to be picked when I adopted him. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Sakura was my second adoption. I didn't get her at the festival though. I ordered her through Amethyst Cottage that is run by a lovely lady. I was very excited for this adoption, because I can carry Sakura on my finger and no one really notices her, where as Harold sits on my shoulder and everyone notices him. I actually make sakura a little next in one of my coffee cups that holds all my expo markers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This baby is my most prized out of all of them. The time and money that were spent on her were well worth it. This is Athar. She's my winged wolf, modeled after my 10 year and running, roleplay character and alter ego. She was a special, custom order, so no one else has this design yet. She's alot bigger than Harold and Sakura and twice as heavy as the two of them put together. Right now her wings are just felt, but as soon as I get the chance, I'm going to feather them, to make her look more angelic. She's my baby and I am so grateful to TMSKD for making her for me. |

| Lily was my second custom baby. A friend of mine had a natural colored bat and I just fell in love with them. So, Lily was born in my brain. She's a pink and white pear bat. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Biblio is another Amethyst Cottage buy. His name comes from the Roman god of Books. He sits on my bookshelf and watches over my vast collection. He's a "dragon fly." | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
