Our Story
A Short Bio
Truly singing from the soul, this group has gigs several times each weekend. Housed at catholic churches, they aren�t your average youth choir. Masses groove to different beat when they�re around. David Siegrist was the original pianist. Accompanying him included bassist J.P. Maramba, Loui Kazui on the drum set, and Erika Vega as their flautist. Angelic voices also made up this band with lead singer Maria Seigrist alongside Danie Muniz, Sara Zarubick, Jill Basallo and Crystal Davalos singing soprano, alto or tenor lines in perfect harmony. Though the original group started several years ago, the main ensemble formed July 2000. They anticipated recording an album. All members agree that their source of inspiration is God, as well as special relatives. Musical influences include �Us & Him.� Their name comes from Monsignor Robert T. Pierce, a retired pastor, who brought the group from Nativity Church in El Monte to Covina. Today, the original members have divided and gone their separate ways, but they can still be found serving at church.
