| On July 19th, 2002 The Celtics announced that they signed 7-2 center Bruno Sundov. The native of Croatia is 22 years old and entering his fifth year of the NBA. In the 1998 NBA draft Sundov was selected in the second round (35th overall) by the Dallas Mavericks. In 2000 Sundov was traded to the Utah Jazz and then later released.
