On July 22, 2002 The Celtics acquired former all-star forward Vin Baker and guard Shammond Williams from the Seattle Supersonics for guard Kenny Anderson, center Vitaly Patapenko, and guard Joe Forte. Vin Baker will be wearing number 40 and Shammond Williams will be wearing number 11. Vin Baker was happier about the trade then most people would suspect. Vin Baker attended the University of Hartford and averaged 20.0 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game during his four year career with Hartford. During his senior year he averaged 28.3 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game. |
