PERMITTED LOCATION FOR AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLATION

Air conditioner must be a split system style unit

No ducting or electrical conduit or wiring ( other than the initial leaders from the compressor through the wall) must be visible on the outside of the building.

Electrical installation must have a certificate of compliance from a licensed electrician.

No air conditioner may be installed in apartment windows.

No holes, other than the initial penetrations from the compressor for wiring and coolant, may be made in the external facade  of the building.

All penetrations  into the external facade must be appropriately sealed with waterproof sealant and painted to match the building
.
The Compressor must rest on the balcony floor ( on appropriate dampers)

The location of the unit must be in compliance with the diagrams available from the Body Corporate:
The compressor must be located on the balcony as close as possible to the wall/ glass. The compressor must be situated side-on to the glass/wall of the apartment.
The apartment owner MUST notify the Management Committee of the intention to install an air conditioner,
before installation. Written permission must be obtained

Installations that have not ben approved in writing by the Committee may have to be re installed.
