Target Dog Wanna-bees:
The Target Corporation is based in Minnesota, with stores all over the US. Their logo is a red bullseye; their mascot, "Bullseye", is a white English Bull Terrier with the logo around it's eye. The dog is featured in TV commercials, magazine ads, in-store displays, on gift cards, stuffies, T-shirts, etc. The New York Target promotion was organized to let people know "Target loves dogs." Target has donated $5,000 to the Humane Society as part of this event and was a sponsor of the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. In addition to red outfits for all 35 owners and their dogs, the participants were supplied with gift bags containing dog treats to give to people they met who have a dog. This was a wonderful opportunity for English Bull Terrier owners to show the public how loveable these dogs can be. New York adored the Target Bullies!
