"Hey I know, lets not get back from Greensborough until 20 minutes before people start coming to my house so we have no time to practise or set up" Those were the exact words of Steve Roberts, the new guy for pienite. Hey lets play at my house Steve says enthusiastically on the friday night. No lifts or movement of equipment organised, very little time to go over anything or set up but this is what pienites second ever gig was like... Okay so they had a singer now, but one problem was whats the point of having a singer if you cannot hear him??? Starting off with the Hawthorne Heights song 'Ohio Is For Lovers' playing that by request two more times in the night and playing Dammit by blink-182 three times were highlights of the night. Along with original songs Steve learned fresh from the pages they also had to do an encore and again it was 'Ohio Is For Lovers'. Clearly pienites best covered song... Anyway we all had fun and took our pants off in the end... |
