POSSIBLES BAGS
HOME PAGE
The bag at left is made from a fairly heavy vegetable tanned leather. There are a few inside compartments for storage, sleeves on the back for a short starter and a pistol rod, and a knife sheath added on the side for a patch knife. The knife has a nice forked antler handle, but that's the focus of another section of my web site. The strap is leather and the powder horn is attached so there is only one strap around your shoulder. Lanyards are attached inside to anchor a straight line capper and a couple of powder measures carved from antler tips.
The possibles bag at right is made from the same vegetable tanned leather as above. The strap was made using an inkle loom and is sewn onto the bag down both sides and across the bottom. It features a beavertail type front flap. There are pockets inside for various items including a round ball pouch, short starter, straight line capper, and so on. Not shown is a knife sheath sewn onto the back for a throwing knife.
