Apple Blossom
Cherry Blossom winds
Sprang to his whims
The night of their joyous marriage
No regretful hate
Or doubtful slate
Marred the day of their union
With tinkling bells
And joyous yells
The couple entered 'Life's Play'
Within few years
Wrought with no tears
A blessing was brought upon them
A darling girl
With hair of black, and no curl
White as the ponds sweet Lily
The child grew fair
Nary shedding a tear
A spriteful girl known to all
Her mother grew dreary
For home she was weary
And with her child she set out
The wind was pleasant
Filled with soft pheasant
Chirping the journey along
The mountain roared
The travelers chored
Trying to weather the storm before it blew
Fire hailed
The mother paled
Throwing herself over the daughter, askew
In pain, she yelled out
With vicious joy, the mountain did spout
Killing the elder of the two
The father cursed
His grief never before rehearsed
As the girl came sobbing home
The wind blew black
And no words could combat
The venting of his anger
The little girl cried
A look of Death in her eyes
As she sobbed all alone
An old witch came to her
Came bidding to play with her
And tell her the meaning of Life
A Wind Master's daughter
A Water Maiden's toddler
A Gatekeeper to all that she knew
The girl sobbed as she might
But her father came not that night
His heart still shattered beyond repair
Then the girl knew
That she, like the morning's fresh dew
Had caused the fiery delight
She shed all but white
And took to random flight
Escaping into the world
And when the wind god came home
He found himself alone
And stole sorrow from the fate's
His life was destroyed
It was all just a ploy
Meant only for his child
A little girl, white was bone
Red as blood drawing thorn
Black as coal sooted stone
And a keeper of Death
In a tiny cleft
Where her soul still remembered home
