MIRROR CASE. (SYMT-3N).

Until it is decided whether the so-called "Mirror case" and the "Notched" or "Divided" Mirrorcases are merely different versions of the same symbol, I shall keep this table separate from the others with more than 10 representations of their respective symbols.

The Plain "mirror case" has 12 appearances on 12 Class I Stones, and 2 times on 2 Class II Stones. The Notched variety appears 6 times on 6 stones, all Class I. There are no notched versions on Class II Stones, to date.

It may be of interest that 3 Notched and 1 Plain version appear on the Orkneys,( on Class1 Stones only) out of a small known number of this symbol, and the relatively few stones that have been found on the islands to date.
