The basic system for building a Labyrinth

This most basic labyrinth is square for ease of building.

I have kept the colours of this page to black and white for ease of printing.

I used canes laid out in the garden to make this most simple of labyrinths, but you could draw it in snow or sand.

Firstly create central cross. make sure you are in the centre of a large enough area.(15 times the width of your paths, in height and width.)

Next define the width of path you will be using by putting 'L' shapes around your central cross.

This labyrinth is the easiest to copy and make because it is square. A round one would be harder to make but more fun to run around.
