NEWS

13/06/01 – Added the ‘Wily Tower’ article, among other things, such as

[Just in case, yes, I *do* know the difference between bicubic and nearest neighbour resampling ;-P]

Some 8-bit sprites made by moi. These are based on real Capcom games, not my *classified* imagination.

From top left:

  • Auto, with his pyrotechnic bazooka (Mega Man 8). Original raw materials taken from The MegaMaster’s website (see below).

  • A pyrotechnic bazooka projectile (Mega Man 8).

  • A preliminary 8-bit conversion of Busterrod G (Mega Man: the Wily Wars), based on a Sega Genesis screenshot.

  • A powered-up version of Rush Jet, with extra engines, tail fins and cannon (Mega Man 8).

  • Er… ye plainne olde Mega Man (obviously not made by moi, but too much effort to remove).

  • Frames for Eddie Bomber (Mega Man 8).

As any expert would see, Auto (especially) seems to have too many colours for a genuine 8-bit NES sprite. When I put him in my game (:-|), I might reduce his colours first.

6/06/01 – BTW, here’s Ann Aldworth ‘Successor of Dr. Doppler’. In the non-Japanese net-world, this is kinda unique, hence…

This pic may be old news to some people…

Although I’ve written offensive / obscene words all over it, I do not claim copyright of this image (of course). I dunno who drew it, but I have reason to believe that it may not be Capcom (which doesn’t mean Ann Aldworth isn’t an official character BTW).

Frontpage has been very annoying tonight. WYSIWYG my gluteus maximus! Hope something not-so-pleasant happens to it (in general, not my copy).

5/06/01 – Finally, a lull in schoolwork. Expect some updates. In case you find my dates confusing, here where I live, we use the dd/mm/yy format, which is logical because you go from smallest to largest.

Meanwhile, I’ve developed a new copy-proof picture method, and have modified Metron as an example. I’m making enough frames to add him to a game, but I don’t see the point of posting all of them here.

19/05/01 – Hmm…I’m considering making some smaller games, which may actually be finished in the reasonably near future. Meanwhile…hey, look what I made! I call it ‘Metron.’

The Mega Man in Space page  has updated Mugshots. The Mega Man 1 section has also undergone a minor change.

2/04/01 Here are some people’s boss suggestions (and my comments) for Mega Man X from the GameWinners.com Mega Man forum, but don’t bother clicking because it has probably been removed.

25/03/01 – The game is currently (still) being converted into DirectX. Actually, that might be a little misleading, cause I haven’t had time to work on it for ages. Now I’ve got enough material for several games. Hopefully, they’ll start churning out relatively quickly once I get the basic framework done. For now, don’t expect a byte of (programming) progress until Easter.

You can download my latest non-DirectX version, but you’ll have to figure out the link yourself.

08/02/01 – All work will be continuing at a very slow rate until the next lull in my work load (which may be a few months away). I think I’ll just concentrate on my game now. Time is too important to ‘waste’ on a comprehensive fully-illustrated list of every thing that Mega Man can have.

03/02/01 – D’oh. My counter doesn’t work. Version 1.0g of Mega Man in Space will be finished soon…

31/01/01 – Oh well, school’s started again. I’m gonna be pretty busy this year… Check out the Projects section for updates.

26/01/01 – Uploaded first progress demo of Mega Man in Space.

20/01/01 – Added lots of stuff to Projects section.

19/01/01 – Reorganised a few things. Added pic for Top Spin.

18/01/01 – Started ‘Mega Man in Space’ (see Projects section).

17/01/01 – Added Mega Man 5 section

16/01/01 – Added more pics for Mega Man 4.

15/01/01 – Minor changes, Mega Man 4 section added. Added a few more pics for Mega Man 1.

14/01/01 – Minor changes, background added.

13/01/01 – Mega Man 3 section added.

12/01/01 – Site created.
