¹ 2.5 Stars – Are Japanese familiar with 'lobsters'? Although technically, lobsters can be any edible marine crustacean of the Homaridae family, the word can also be applied to other freshwater crustaceans, including the 'spiny lobster'. However, ‘spiny lobster’ is another name for ‘crayfish’, which is another name for ‘crawfish’. I’d think it more likely that Capcom would translate such a word to ‘crawfish’, as the Japanese may not have a generic word like ‘lobster’. The word ‘lobster’ seems a little awkward as well.
