Moment Of The Week

Okay, this moment of the week comes from 5/7/06. Today was extremely boring at work. I was, at first, scheduled to work 12-4. Not bad, that's usually how long I work. Anyways, the morning comes and it's 10 AM. I'm awake from my alarm clock, but I'm enjoying the warmth and comfort of my bed when suddenly the phone rings (Actually my house phone plays Super Mario instead of ringing). I lay there thinking that someone else will pick it up when suddenly (Que Darth Vader Music) it changes and the Imperial March theme plays. Having set that for Arby's, I knew it was work. I quickly crawled over to the phone and grabbed it and: Manager: I need you to come in early Me: How early....? Manager: Well.... A.S.A.P. Me: Awww.... I'll be there in 20... I hung up the phone and sighed and got ready for work. My mom handed me some money for gas since I was running on fumes. I grabbed a slice of cake I made the night before and headed out the door. Fast forward to Arby's... I found out that for coming in I get a free sandwich (Whoo! Arby's Gyro!) I find out it's only me and the maneger until about 11 when another person comes in. We were supposed ot have someone else but they left because the manager showed up an hour late and so she had to open by herself. Because I kept the lobby clean and everything well stocked, mostly because no one really comes in at 11:30 am for a roast beef, I grabbed a random To-go bag, a pencil, and began to doodle. This is the day's result of boredom.
