Karen is stubborn. Very stubborn. She is princess of the Antarctic ocean and Noel's younger twin sister. They were born at the same time on opposite ends of the world. She's close to Noel, and ends up being rather rude to Lina because Noel saved Lina and ended up being captured herself.

Despite the fact that she seems against human and mermaid relationships, Karen ends up falling for a human herself. Karobota Subaru, a scientist studying the Antarctic Iceburgs.

Personal oppinion here. Fans of Karen, please don't take offense. I personally find her singing voice somewhat annoying. Please don't send me hate mail and flame me. I don't hate her.
