Monkey D. Luffy He is the captain of the straw hat crew.Luffy ate a sacred fruit as a kid and is able to stretch his body.He is very layed back and nothing ever bothers him. The only thing he is bothered by is the saftey and happiness of his crew. He wears a straw hat which is his most cherished possesion.
Zolo He has made a vow to a childhood friend to become the worlds greatest swordsman. Zolo uses 3 swords 1 in each hand and 1 in his mouth. So to get recognition he tracks down pirates and kills them he is Luffy's first recruit. Zolo and Luffy don't mix as well as the rest of the crew since Luffy is way to layed backed always gettin Zolo into trouble. Zolo respects Luffy and would give his life for his captain and his dream of being the greatest swordsman.
Nami Nami is a navigator who knows the ocean very well. She had such a great talent as a child she was forced to join Arlong's crew so she could save her village from there pilgrimage.Nami is also a thief and her main concern is to get arlong his money and with this she doesn't have very much regard of the crews safety until they help free her village.
Usop He is a lier who wants to become a real pirate. He meets Luffy and his crew and decides to join them after they help save his village. Though Usop is a lier and is scared to battle alongside the gang he stays with them and is willing to intervene if the crew is in danger. Usop holds a bag that contains all kinds of items to trick his enemy his main weapon is a slingshot which he has great accuracy with.
Sangi Sangi is a chef who is the last to join Luffy's crew. His dream is to start a resturant on the great blue shich is said to have an unlimited varietys of fishes. Sangi always keeps a sucker in his mouth. Sangi has learned the fighting style of his mentor red boots in which he only uses his lower body to combat.Sangi loves all pretty women and is normally a character when they are around especially Nami.
