This is my newest album, and the first album where I have been focusing on sharing it with as many people as possible. Why the big effort to share it, while because it is a milestone sorta thing for me. For this album represents how not only am I comfortablt with the way God has made me,. But it alaso represents how I am winning the battle of letting fear run my life. If I am going to truly be free to express how I feel and who God is then I can not let fear stand in my way, for that is just silly. And as a result, I am now willing to express myself regardless how it comes out. It may be nothing more then noise to some, but to others a thing of beauty, that breaks the chains that has bound them up for centuries.
To llimit art to mere talent maybe all some needs to express themselves, but there is so much to art and music then the talent, as true music comes from ones soul, and not from any amazing technological acheivememt.
With that said, this album is more of a collection of all the songs I have written to date, with a few new ones. With the intent to finish the creative process of each song, that being the actual sharing.
And in case you are wondering about the the title of the cd, it is a Christian title, and the only other thing I am going to say about it is "apple" is another word for "world". And that is all I am going to say for I want it left open for your own interpretation. (which art should also be). |
