It all began when the starship Voyager and her crew were flung across the galaxy into the Delta Quadrent by the "Caretaker". They ran into this alien in their pursuit of the Macki (spelling?). Once in the Delta quadrant their mission became clear.. get home. So, as Voyager and her crew began their 70 year journey toward home, they encountered some of the most unusual and incredible species imaginable. Some of these species help them along their way, while others slow them down; but nonetheless, Voyager's fearless captain didn't stop until she got her crew home.
The first season began to air in January of 1995. And now, after 7 successful seasons, voyager and her crew are finally home. In my personal opinion the long awaited Series Finale left a lot to be desired. But hey, maybe they'll make a full length feature, who knows... As for the new series coming out called, "Enterprise", we'll just have to wait and see if it can compare to Voyager.
