The series launched from the spaceport in Fall of 2001. Though it's still early in its first season, Enterprise has already captivated audiences from all around. There was much skepticism - by me at least - as to whether this series would compare to any of the other series and I'm glad to say that so far it is doing a very good job. We'll just have to wait to see if this season finishes as well as it started.
Lead by Captain Jonathan Archer, the crew of Enterprise launched early from spaceport on a mission... To Explore. Being the first fully manned and warp capable vessel launced from Earth, and with the Vulcans at their side Enterprise will be leading the way in that mission. This series shows how Star Trek first began, along with the first steps that humans made in space.
