Here are some FAQs...

FOR YOUNGER GRADES
Q: How young do they have to be to start Italian school?
A: 4 years old.  Some exceptions have been made with 3 years old but this is
on a case basis.  However, they will start GRADE 1 at the age of 6 (as in
regular school)

Q: Do we need to give them a snack?
A: Yes.  No nuts are allowed.

Q: Can we take the children to their classrooms?
A: No, the teacher takes the children upstairs for security reasons.
Kindergarten children may be taken up by ONE parent only.

Q: What should they bring to class?
A: A small binder for their papers, paper, eraser, scissors, STIC GLUE,
coloring pencils/crayons.  Some teachers may want a copy book.  Any other
additional material will be specified by the teacher.

Q: Do they need books?
A: Books are supplied.  They will be distributed shortly after the beginning
of classes as some books are being shipped from Italy.  There are no books
for Kindergarten.  They must be returned at the end of the year.

Q: What are SABATI PEDAGOGICI?
A: ON every last Saturday of the month, classes will end at 11AM.  This
allows teachers to meet on a monthly base, in order to keep up to date on
changes and to offer a better service to your children.

ADULTS
Adults must buy their own books.

Q: What is the cost?
A: Courses are 150$.  The price is higher compared to that of children since
PICAI only receives grants from Italy for children instruction and not
adults.

Q: When do classes start? End?
A: October 2nd until the end of school (30th of April).
