Robert E. Edwards, Owner & Chief Investigator, is a former Chief of Police & Fire Chief with extensive background in investigations and security matters.
He holds a BA Degree in Business Administration from Southampton College of Long Island University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Mr. Edwards left Law Enforcement in 1979 to enter the field of Private Investigation and Security Services. He founded Care Security International in 1980. Through this company he became involved in the airline services industry and became a Divisional Vice President for a national airline services firm. In 1989 he sold Care Security International in anticipation of moving to Arizona.
A poor real estate market thwarted this move, and due to a non-compete clause, Mr. Edwards entered the field of advertising.
In 1993 Mr. Edwards started R. E. Edwards & Associates, a fully licensed Investigative and Security company. He currently provides investigative services for insurance companies, attorneys, corporate clients and some private clients. He also provides safety & security consulting for the workplace.
Mr. Edwards served some 15 years on the Vermont Board of Investigative and Security Services, eight of which as Chair.
