| Chimes/ Ave maria | I heard the theme of this piece played by chimes in Montferrier, southern France. In this region the Cathars have been prosecuted and killed by the inquisition in 13th century. This contrast between the "catholic" melody, the beautiful mountain landscape there and the doom of the Cathars inspired me to play this alienating improvisation. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A rather trance-like piece. I played this after having been awake all night, having had a very hard time. Then I went for a walk in the early morning and watched a really surrealistic sunrise. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
