1997 - Marching Band
Show: Civil War Show
Instrument: Marimba

That year, we did a Civil War Show. The pit was
split that year, so my side became the "yankees"
and the other became the "rebels". In this
picture, I'm with (L to R) my friend Karen, Jamie,
and Gen. The mallet parts in this show were
amazing.

1997 - Marching Band
Show: Les Miserables
Instrument: Viberphone

This was my first show for my high school,
Woodland Hills. I'd have to say it was one of my
favorites, being as that I'm a musical junkie.
It's also when I learned to play with 4 mallets
for the first time. It's not as easy as you might think.

1997 - Musical
Show: The Music Man
Part: Amaryllis

One of the best experiences I've ever had. I got out of
the stupid junior high scene and went on to meet some
of my best friends during this play. Not to mention the
fact that we kicked butt in the Gene Kelly Awards!

Music Man won: Best Overall Musical, Scenic Design, Lighting Design,
and Crew/Technical Execution
