Song: For Good - Wicked the Musical
Alas! The month of January is ending! Ok, now that I've gotten my Shakespeare imitation out of the way, I can talk about the good stuff.  It's nothing new, but once again I realize that I am entirely too competitive. I lost a few games in the tournament and it threw me into a bad mood. Second place isn't that bad, though. Or so I keep telling myself...  Did you know that for the past three weeks it has rained on my drive back to school? It's looking like the trend will continue next week, according to the weather forecast. Rain makes me sleepy. I had to resort to slapping myself to stay awake. I guess it worked.

Song: My New Philosophy
It seems that I have been quite the slacker when it comes to this page.  I have taken up crocheting as the result of waiting for a 45-minute wait in the fabric department at Walmart. Interesting, no? Crocheting is a funny word. Just look at it. Don't you just want to laugh? Yeah, neither do I. Ever since I made that B, I've been in a semi-bad mood. It was an open book test !!  That reminds me...I should probably study for the one I have next week.

Song: Forever- Vertical Horizon
Fear leads to the dark side. "Perfect love casteth out fear" - 1 John 4:18. God is perfect and God is love. Therefore, Christians have no reason to fear.

Song: Ain-a That Good News - William Dawson
Chorus has lost its appeal. True, I do belong to a group now, but within that group I am nothing.  Hey, I've always been an outcast, why should I change now? That's my new philosophy. ;-)

Song: Little April Showers - Bambi
Happy MLK Jr. Day Eve! I finally read Revenge of the Sith. It was pretty good, but I can see why the movie was PG-13. Lots of gore and mutilation. I went ahead and bought the original trilogy book yesterday. I'm feeling all sci-fi and nerdy. I love it! Muah-ha-ha-ha!

Song: Goodnight Saigon - Billy Joel
For some reason the business department is making everyone take accounting proficiency tests. I don't want to be an accountant, so what do I care about it? I'm taking my first real finance course now. I don't know if I like it yet. I'm wondering if maybe I should go into economics. I know I'm good at it and it's interesting. The problem is number of jobs. I guess I could always undergrad in econ and then do graduate work in finance. I'll figure out something when the time comes.

Song: The Irish Washerwoman
Once again I have three jobs. I'm a tutor again. I hope I'm not overdoing it. At least I'm not accompanying. I don't like that. I really like being in chorus, though. I don't know what it is that is so fun, but I enjoy being part of the group. I still haven't quite figured out how to sing Italian yet...I'd rather it be in Spanish since I know how to pronounce it.

Song: Let the Sunshine In
You know that children's book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day? I'm having one of those days. It's not even ten o'clock yet and I have had to clean up two big messes. I'll tell you about the most recent one. I just got back from Walmart and I bought a 6-pack of bottled Sprite. When I went to put it in the refrigerator, I noticed some liquid was coming out from the bottom. I wondered why water was in there, but then I noticed that it smelled like Sprite.  My first thought was "Oh no! A bottle burst!" So I transferred the package to the sink (but a lot still got on the floor.) I took them out one by one and I couldn't see anything wrong. Then I got to the middle and found that there was no bottle cap on one. There wasn't even a loose one in the box! I'm not sure how I managed to get it from Walmart to here without noticing a leak. Needless to say, I am quite angry with the bottling company and/or Walmart...

Song: Twilight Zone Theme Song
Ah, a new year. As I was turning my teller stamp to '06' I noticed it was untouched by ink. The '05' looked worn down and black from various ink pads.  It's like life. Yes, I'm thinking too much again...
