Who Are You?

This is a poem I wrote one night when I was bored. I was feeling inspired, I guess, because I don't normally write for "fun."

Who are you?
Do you know? Does anyone know?
I know. I can see right through you.
You are afraid.
Afraid of being hated, of being loved.
Afraid of being wrong, of being right.
Afraid of me.
Here I am, standing right in front of you.
Take off your mask and confront me.
I know who I am.
I am your worst nightmare.
You know I'm right
But instead of accepting that you hide.
Hide behind your mask.
You're not so tough.
I can see right through you. I know.
Know your secrets,
And that makes you afraid.
Who are you?
You tell me.
