"WHAT WOULD THEY THINK"
What do you think,
Abe and George would say,
If they were living,
Among us today.
Would they have marched,
For Civil Rights?
Yes,
But not have condoned,
The fires and fights.
And what of the monies,
Sent over seas,
To bear arms in the future,
Against you and me.
Swindled some people,
And performed lewd acts,
Those words started as gossip,
And turned into facts.
Our Country has changed,
At such a great speed.
Do you think Abe or George,
Would have smoked Wacky Weed?
We've taken God out of Country,
And schools for our young.
Many's morals have dropped,
And turned into Dung.
What has become of us,
Since days gone by,
When Abe and George,
Wouldn't tell a lie.
It's called
PROGRESS
