IN AND AROUND BAREFOOT BAY
A DEED RESTRICTED COMMUNITY OF ALL AGES As the sun rises over the river, In 95 I was Florida bound, As I opened the door Bless this house, oh Lord, I cry,
Please keep it cool in mid-July.
Bless the walls where termites dine,
While ants and roaches march in time.
Bless our yard where spiders pass
And fire ant castles in the grass.
Bless the garage, a home to please
Carpenter beetles, ticks and fleas.
Bless the love bugs, two by two,
The gnats and mosquitoes that feed on you.
Millions of creatures that fly or crawl, In Florida, Lord, you've put them all!
But this is home, and here I'll stay,
So thank you Lord, for INSECT SPRAY.

And shines on Barefoot Bay.
I sit on my porch in the morning,
And say "THANK YOU GOD" for today.
For retirement I had just begun.
My working years were over,
And I was ready to have some fun.
to my Florida home,
I was greeted with a great surprise.
there sat on my rug,
A ferocious looking bug.
Staring me in the eyes.
