My Extended Essay
During the summer after my IB1 year, I had to write an extended essay as part of my diploma requirements. I was really proud of my work, since I had never written more than four thousand words on just one essay before. Although there are plenty of microlensing resources on the Internet, I decided to post mine since none of them give a general summary on the history of it, the math behind it, and what it really is.
So, to find out what "it" really is, I advise you read my abstract. I'm afraid some of the diagrams did not transfer well from MS-Word, so I was forced to omit some of them.
