vector (cross) product The vector product of two vectors A and B is given by,

A ´ B = AB sin q n (v2)

where q is the smaller angle between A and B. n is a unit vector perpendicular to the plane containing A and B, given by the right hand screw rule, that is a right handed screw rotated from A to B through the smaller angle will advance in the direction of n.
