What is a Christian? - Some people will tell you that they are Christians. However this term means different things to different people. Some Christians believe that a Christian is a person who accepts the Holy Bible as fact, who believes that Jesus was the Messiah, was crucified on the cross, died for our sins, and was then raised from the dead. Other Christians believe that a Christian is a person who believes that Jesus died on the cross for their sins. E.g. Muslims believe that Jesus was the Messiah. I believe that the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one, that Jesus was the Messiah are one in the same and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. I believe that the Apostles' Creed pretty much sums up what it means to be a Christian.

Apostles' Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty; Maker of Heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ His Only begotten Son our Lord; who was conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; he rose from the dead: he ascended into heaven; and sitteth at the right right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to  judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the ressurection of the body; and the life ever lasting.
