The Principle of Conservation of Motion of the Center of Gravity and the Inertia of Energy, A. Einstein, Annalen der Physik 20 (1906): 627-633

The electromagnetic field associated with a uniformly accelerated charge is studied in some detail. The equivalence principle paradox that the  co-accelerating observer measures no radiation no radiation while a freely falling observer measures the standard radiation of an accelerated charge is resolved by noting that all the radiation goes into the region of spacetime in-accessible to the co-accelerating observer.
