Aloe Vera

Usages:
This plants ability to soothe burn pain is so well-known that herbalists and Healers stock it always. You may not have known that aloe is also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal, and it speeds healing. If you have an aloe plant, simply slice the leaf lengthwise, scoop out the inner gel and apply to burned skin. The fresh gel is much better in quality than the preserved gels one might buy. This gel can also be used on chapped and raw skin, such as when one has been breastfeeding and the nipples are sensitive and raw. Taken internally it can be helpful in aiding the passage of impacted feces from the bowels.
