"Mr. Clark's Gym"
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays students from Hermann Gmeiner SOS College came to "Mr. Clark's Gym" for stregnth training. Students were taught various weight lifting techniques, given workout tips, and participated in a comprehensive stregnth training program for beginers.

The students at Hermann Gmeiner SOS College are interested in various techniques and skills to help them increase muscle stregnth, muscle endurance, and overall physical fitness.

Weight/ stregnth training is not a course that is emphisized at the University level in Ghana or in Africa in general; therefore, many teachers do not have enough background information in the subject to instruct their students properly.


Studies come first...This group of young ladies (not all pictured) because of their school work load didn't have enough time in the afternoon to come to the gym and workout.

Somehow they convinced me to wake up at 4:30 a.m. in the morning on Tuesdays and Thrusdays to open the gym and help them with various fitness and stregnth training activities.
