Today was a day that was chalked up as a learning experience. Many times before I have astralled to "adult" which would take me to the adult firedrake. I would use that cue when I wanted to get near to Dragonvale...because i did not farsight "adult" before I astralled today, I ended up IN Dragonvale at an adult dragon who was in the company of two other dragons...needless to say that as soon as I materialized, I was instantly killed. Lesson learned...farsight BEFORE you astral...
I spent the night helping out others in the Temple of Tarin who needed spells cast on them...I needed the quiet time...lol...
I went on a mob kill again today...Zefrien asked me to join him, Alunea and Carsus to kill Marenil...I didn't know it, but by killing him, which we did with ease, you get a big boost to the devoted side...Alunea couldn't wear the cape we took of Marenil for her and Zefrien got zapped by his green sleeves...I know how it feels to get zapped, every once and awhile I get zapped by my Diadem...OUCH!....
Since my clanhall office is no longer safe, today Gelltor came to my aide. I am storing my jewel encrusted hope chest with him for safe keeping...He is truely a wonderful friend. Now I do not have to worry about the last remaining item of value to me being stolen...
Norphys told me about the spell Faerie Fire today...I never really paid much attention to that spell...but I spent the early part of the day adapting at it..I will start all my fights with it now, lol.
Well, the immortals of the Realm have decided to change the way we mortals can talk to each other over long distances. In order to communicate with others, we must be carrying a special seer stone in our hands. I am very unhappy because I can not carry my tiger crystal anymore. Now I have lost the benefits it brought to me. Also those who could dual wield 2 weapons at once, can no longer do so if they have to be holding the stone. On the occations that I need to heal myself with my Healing Staff, I have to remove my stone, and lose my communication ability. Very inconvenient...
Other than that, the day went pretty well...I reached my 400 birthday. Hmm, must test my Nova's strength again against the Druid Guildmaster, lol.
I helped out some realm mates today, many had come across hard times and needed help finding their corpse and replacing armor.
I also had so much fun collecting gems today...I sold the less valuable ones to the temple priest, and kept the expensive or mysteriously named ones in my belt pouch. I am told there are 60 different kinds...I wonder how many types I will find...
I think I have figured out a plus side to these seer stones...If I am not holding mine, nobody can see my name and know that I am on...I spent a quiet afternoon to myself today. Nobody could see me to ask me for help today...Ahhh, peace and quiet...lol.
I found an orb of red firestone today...It is worth $3,640. I am definitely keeping that gem in my belt pouch.
I ran into Fenaly in Folcur's Keep...She was gem hunting too. I ususally stay in the outreaches of the realm so i have less of a chance of running into someone, lol.
