I was born in Pataskala , Ohio on September 19, 1962 and was raised on a steady diet of contemporary country music. George Jones, Merle Haggard and Kitty Wells were some of my parents? favorite performers. Learning to play the guitar came easy as my mother had been a rhythm guitar player in a band some years before. When I was 12 years old, she taught me 3 chords; G, C and D. Then she would let me practice on her rig, an old Silverstone electric and small amp. I remember she would say, When you can play better than me, this guitar is yours; By the time I had turned 15, it was. By then I had discovered other bands like the Eagles, Foreigner, Bob Seger and dire straits were among them. Lynyrd Skynyrd was also a big influence on me. I always wanted to take rock, southern rock and country and put my own mix to them. I wanted to Put a little drive in my country, long before Travis Tritt ever wrote those words! I always dreamed of being in a band, and now after being in a few, I can tell you it's a lot of hard work! When you're with the right people though, it's like having an extended family. And these guys I am with now are as crazy as I am! It's been a wild and twisted road to get to where we are now, an even stranger trip to where we'll be someday, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's what we've been through that makes us who we are. We hope you'll join us on our journey to wherever it is we're going and maybe we can make you smile a little and forget about the troubles of today if for just a little while. Remember, True happiness isn't having everything you want, it's wanting everything you have!

Hello my Name is Bruce. I was born in Newark Ohio, on December 1954. I have a great twin sister that is a big part of my life. And I have a son that is a big part of my life also. Music was in my dads back ground. When he was younger he was a drummer in a Big Band (you know that era). He never talked much about it, but he did use to tell me stories about catching gigs, driving in bad snow storms out in Nebraska and Kansas. Well maybe, just maybe that is where I got some of my talent from. Some of my music favorites, are????? Most anything, country (new and old) Rock (Pink Floyd), too many good ones to tie it down. Like to write lyrics in my spare time. As far as who I have worked with in my past musical career, well when you come to one of our gigs, come up and talk to me and I will be happy to share that with you. I will say one thing, this is the best group of guys I have had the opportunity to play music with and associated with, we have a lot of fun, and I hope it rubs of on you.
Scott was born in Huntington West Virginia way back in the spring of 1974 and was soon doing all the things a young boy does. Chasing girls and listening to his favorite songs on the radio. He started playing the guitar at an early age and found out that it came natural to him. This probably didnt surprise him since his entire family is musically inclined. By the age of 18 Scott was on stage with his dad, Tiny, playing traditional country and some occasional Blue grass and gospel, all the while criss-crossing the country on tour. He rebelled somewhat though as young boys do and listened the musical stylings of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Arrowsmith, Z.Z. Top, Eagles and the like. All in all, a well rounded musician and song writer. Scott is an electrician by trade which keeps him busy, but when hes not working or playing out with the band, he loves to fish and still chases a girl or two now and then. Scott also likes puppies!!
Hello Phynix fans, my name is Lewis. I am the new lead vocalist for the band. I was born in 1964 in Columbus Ohio. I grew up in Tampa Florida. In the winter of 1989 I came back home to Ohio, (only an evil woman can make a man leave Florida and move to Ohio in the winter). After reading all the guys bios it is apparent I'm going to have to exaggerate a little, but that's not me so here's the truth. I'm a self taught rhythm guitar player and singer. Although I have never officially been in a band I've logged many an hour around the campfire with some hard partying friends (Curtis your still my #1 fan!). My musical influences have always been country and classic rock. Being somewhat of a songwriter myself I lean towards simple songs, ones with a great melody, catchy hook and true to life lyrics. Great music regardless of the genre has the ability to touch your soul and create memories. The need to relive those memories is what keeps us coming back for more. I hope whan you get the chance to share some originals they live up to that expectation. So here we go, my new adventure as the frontman for Phynix (WOW, me the frontman, how awesome is that!). I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity! Livin' the dream baby just livin' the dream.
