Meeting Minutes
May 13, 2003
Meeting began at 7:05pm

Erin' Corner:
· Erin opened up the meeting by thanking all the parents for the hard
work to make the State Meet the success it was.

· Clarification for the Level 4 schedule: June 2-13 Weds & Friday
June 16 through summer - M & W
· End of year party will be held at the Jacobsens house (Sam) on Saturday
June 28th. The rain date will be June 29th. Further
details to follow.
· Christina Ng's last day of coaching the level 6's is May 14th. Shawna
Eddy will take over the coaching responsibilities for Level 6 on May 27th.
· Keystone Games will be in
Marsha Beatty if you need a hotel room. This is a meet for both YMCA's
and
clubs.

· The YMCA is breaking ground soon for the new field house. It was
suggested the GPO might give a gift of $500.00 to the Y. The gift can be
allocated back to the team to be used for a purchase to benefit the team, ie.
cubbies for the girls. A vote will be taken at
the June meeting.
· Lisa Wohlgemuth would like to get a list of all the leftover meet
supplies. If you have something that is leftover from any meet we had
this
year please get in touch with her. The idea is to have a master list so
we do
not duplicate in purchasing things we already have.

· Banners will be made for the Level 5 and 6 State Meets.
· The GPO is looking for volunteers to be a part of next years GPO
Board. Please contact Ed Postell if you are interested in running.
· The June GPO Meeting is Mandatory, it will be the 2nd Tuesday of the
month and nominations and elections will take place.
· Please check over the schedule for summer practice.
Treasurer's Report:
There is $12,293.00 in the checking account. There are still
substantial outstanding bills to be paid from the State Meet. If you have
an
outstanding receipt from the meet please hand it in to Lisa. The Kitchen,
Snack Table, Gift Table, Registration table grossed $3900.00
Nationals:
see Marsha Beatty with any questions about hotel reservations. Level 7, 8 & 9
need to be in
to arrive by early evening Saturday, July 5th. The nationals week practice
schedule for the Optional girls will be Monday and Tuesday, June 30th and July
1st with times TBA. The practice schedule for 5's and 6's will be Monday
through Wednesday of that same week and possibly Thursday, July 3rd.
Regionals: The girls will be leaving Friday, June 6th at
rented a club wagon ($370 for the weekend) and Ann Elko and Lori Williams will
be the chaperones. The hotel cost will be $40.00 a night per girl.
The cost
of the van rental will be split evenly among those attending the
competition.
There is a possibility the girls will stay over Saturday night.
Next GPO Meeting will be June 10th at
